The Makita DML805 LED work-light is a versatile lighting solution compatible with both 14.4V and 18V Makita Li-ion batteries, as well as 110V power. It features twenty 0.5-watt LEDs that provide bright and even illumination, with two modes of operation: 750 lumens on High and 450 lumens on Low. The light unit is housed in a rugged cradle with a flat base and a top handle that can be used as a hanging bar. A simple rotating knob allows for 360-degree angle adjustment. Engineered with Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), it offers improved dust and water resistance for harsh conditions. This model includes two lights and a tripod stand with a 1/4" thread. On a 5.0Ah 18V LXT battery, it provides up to 8.5 hours of illumination on High mode and up to 17 hours on Low mode. The unit also features a backup power function, where the light stays on if AC power is lost, provided by the 18V LXT battery. The AC cord is easily stored around the mounting stand base. The compact design and integrated handle add to its user convenience.
