This cable is compatible with most standard BT household telephone sockets and devices that use a 4-wire connection (4P4C plugs).

While it connects to a BT socket, this cable is specifically designed for voice telephony. For broadband, a dedicated ADSL filter or modem cable is typically required.

The cable is 1 meter in length. For longer distances, you would need a longer telephone cable, but signal integrity may be affected over very extended runs.

'Straight wired' means the internal wires connect directly from pin 1 to pin 1, pin 2 to pin 2, and so on. This is standard for most telephones but differs from crossover cables used in some networking applications.
