RJ45 8P8C CAT6A UTP Connectors with molded boots, supplied in packs of 4. These connectors accept cables with an outer diameter of 6mm to 7.6mm, with supplied spacers to reduce the diameter if needed. They are used for terminating CAT6a or CAT6 cable and are the standard 8P8C (eight position, eight contact) RJ45 connector. These connectors can be used with stranded or solid core cabling for network connections of up to 10GBps, with solid core recommended for easier installation. Installation is simplified as no IDC punch down tool is required. Simply strip the insulation from the cable end, insert the conductors into the color-coded guide, and close the connector. Spacers can be used for thinner cables. Wiring can be done using TIA/EIA-568-A or TIA/EIA-568-B configurations for 'Straight Through' or 'Cross Over' cables. 'Cross over' cables connect two computers directly, while 'Straight through' cables connect a PC or game console to a Hub/Router.
