The Korda Compac Padded Rod Sleeve is an essential storage solution for anglers looking to protect their 12ft rods and reels during transit. Ideal for both short sessions and long-distance travel, this sleeve features robust water-resistant fabric and heavy-duty padding to prevent damage to expensive gear. While it provides excellent protection, users should note that each sleeve is designed for a single rod setup, requiring multiple units if you intend to carry a full arsenal of rods separately.

This specific sleeve is designed for 12ft rods. Korda offers separate versions for 10ft and 13ft rods.
While it is specifically optimized for Korda Compac Rod Holdalls, it can technically be strapped to other systems provided they have compatible compression straps.
Use a soft brush to remove dried mud and a damp sponge with mild soap if necessary. Allow it to air dry completely.
The material is water-resistant, which protects against rain and splashes, but it should not be submerged in water.
It comes with a reinforced carrying handle, but does not feature a shoulder strap as it is primarily designed for individual carry or attachment to a main holdall.
Check for debris or dirt in the zip track. Clean with a soft brush and consider using a silicone-based lubricant.
Ensure the butt ring is oriented flat within the dedicated sleeve section and that the reel is tucked fully into the center of the padded reel pouch.
To setup your rod for storage, ensure the lead is secured in the provided pocket and the reel is positioned flat within the padded housing. The sleeve is compatible with most standard 12ft carp rods. To maintain the life of the product, wipe the Dark Kamo fabric down with a damp cloth after use to remove dirt or dried mud. Store the sleeve in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid storing damp rods inside the sleeve for extended periods to prevent moisture buildup on your rod guides.
