The Lindy 4K30 HDMI & USB over IP system is a powerful solution for creating a wide range of bespoke, distributed AV and KVM installations. This system comprises Encoder and Decoder modules, along with a separate Controller module. All modules are sold separately, allowing you to build and scale the system according to your specific requirements. An HDMI source, such as a PC or Media Player, connects to a single Encoder module, while an HDMI display connects to a single Decoder module. Multiple Encoders and Decoders can be combined for various multicast distribution options. The controller module manages the entire installation, directing multiple sources to multiple displays for maximum creative freedom and customization. All modules can connect to a 1G managed switch to create a network of interconnected devices. Additionally, the system supports USB KVM control access for each connected module, enabling control of PCs at the Encoder end from KVM consoles at the remote Decoder end. By combining several decoders and connected displays, users can create not only individual displays but also impressive video wall and matrix solutions. This extender system features a JPEG2000 main stream and an H.264/H265 codec secondary stream, supporting numerous API commands for flexible configurations, including integration with third-party control apps. It requires a Layer3 1G managed network switch that supports IGMP snooping and 8K Jumbo frame. The PoE function allows the device to be powered without a separate mains unit. The Encoder module supports 4K30 HDMI, audio, RS-232, IR remote, LAN KVM, and 3rd party control systems, with a built-in Web GUI browser interface that supports drag & drop operations and image preview. This product comes with a 2-year warranty.
