Quinton Hazell GEOMET coated brake discs are known for their quality and durability and come with a 2 year / 25,000 mile warranty. These are an essential component of the vehicle's braking system. When the brake pedal is applied the brake caliper squeezes the brake pads against the brake discs, creating friction that slows or stops the rotation of the wheels. Quinton Hazell brake discs are GEOMET coated to help prevent corrosion and are designed to withstand the high temperatures generated by the braking process and to dissipate heat effectively in order to prevent brake fade, which is a loss of braking effectiveness due to overheating. ISO14001.1996 and ISO9001.2000 certification on all QH brake discs ensure they meet or exceed the braking performance of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) brake disc.
