The Nerf Dog Compact Ball Blaster is an excellent choice for active dog owners looking to extend their game of fetch without repetitive strain or messy hands. By launching standard 2.5-inch tennis balls over 40 feet, it transforms a standard park walk into a high-intensity workout for your pet; however, users should note that the device is specifically engineered for non-squeak tennis balls and may not perform optimally with oversized or specialized heavy-duty balls.

No, it is designed for use with standard non-squeak 2.5-inch tennis balls to ensure consistent performance.
The blaster is calibrated for 2.5-inch balls; other sizes will either fail to load or get stuck in the firing mechanism.
While it is made for outdoor use, it is not submersible. Wipe it dry after playing in wet conditions to maintain the spring.
Yes, but ensure your dog is comfortable with the size and weight of a standard tennis ball.
The set includes two 2.5-inch non-squeak tennis balls.
Ensure the firing handle is pulled back fully to its stop position before releasing the trigger.
Check that the ball is a standard 2.5-inch size and not deformed or waterlogged, which can change its diameter.
Inspect the barrel and loading chamber for trapped dirt or pebbles and clear them out.
To ensure the longevity of your blaster, store it in a dry location after use to prevent debris from clogging the firing mechanism. The device is designed for use with standard 2.5-inch tennis balls; while the two included balls are optimized for the mechanism, you may use other standard tennis balls of the same size. Avoid using overly saturated or muddy balls, as grit can accumulate in the internal spring components. If the device becomes dirty, wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth and allow it to air dry fully before storage.
