The Inov8 Soft Flask is designed for runners and hikers needing convenient hydration on the go. Its key benefit is the self-sealing bite valve and the way it shrinks as you drink, reducing sloshing and movement. A minor caveat is its 500ml capacity, which may require refills for very long excursions. This flask is ideal for carrying water in hydration vests, belts, or backpack pockets.

Wash the flask with warm water and mild soap after each use. Use a bottle brush if necessary for thorough cleaning of the interior and the bite valve. Rinse well and allow it to air dry completely before storing.
No, this soft flask is designed for cold or room temperature water only. Hot liquids can damage the material and pose a burn risk.
The flask is typically made from a durable, BPA-free thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) or similar food-grade flexible plastic.
The valve is designed to automatically close when you're not actively sipping, preventing leaks. You simply bite down gently to open it and allow water to flow.
It's designed to fit most standard hydration vest, belt, and backpack pockets. Its flexible nature allows it to adapt to common pocket sizes.
The bite valve should be replaced if it shows signs of wear, cracking, or if it becomes difficult to clean effectively. Regular cleaning will prolong its lifespan.
The main advantage is its collapsible nature, which reduces sloshing and takes up less space as it empties, making it more comfortable to carry during activity.
Ensure the bite valve is properly seated and try biting more firmly. Check for any visible blockages around the valve opening.
Verify that the bite valve is correctly aligned and fully engaged. Ensure the flask is not overfilled.
Thoroughly clean the flask and bite valve with soap and water, and rinse completely. Allow to air dry fully. This may also occur with new bottles, and the taste should dissipate after a few uses.
Ensure there are no air pockets trapped. Try to expel excess air by squeezing the flask gently after filling.
