The Hygiplas Roast Meat Thermometer is an essential kitchen tool for home cooks and professional chefs who need to ensure meat reaches precise internal temperatures for safety and quality. It is ideal for monitoring roasts and large cuts of meat, offering a simple and reliable way to prevent foodborne illness and avoid overcooking; however, it is limited to a specific temperature range of +60 to +87 degrees Celsius, making it unsuitable for low-temperature cooking or high-heat candy making.

Yes, this thermometer is designed to remain in the meat throughout the roasting process so you can monitor the internal temperature continuously.
No, it should be cleaned by hand with a damp cloth to prevent damage to the internal mechanism.
The thermometer is only calibrated for the range of +60 to +87 degrees Celsius. Outside of this range, the reading will be inaccurate or the needle may not move appropriately.
No, this is a mechanical, analog thermometer and does not require batteries to function.
No, the temperature range is too narrow for those applications; this device is specifically for meat temperature monitoring.
Gently ensure there is no debris around the probe and verify the thermometer is being used in an environment within its +60 to +87 degrees Celsius range.
Ensure the probe is inserted into the thickest part of the meat and is not resting against bone, which conducts heat differently than muscle tissue.
No complex setup is required for this thermometer; it is ready to use immediately out of the box. Simply ensure the probe is clean before use. To maintain the device, wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild sanitizing agent after each use. Do not submerge the entire unit in water, as this may affect the internal mechanical components. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme heat when not in use. It is compatible with most standard oven-roasted meats including beef, lamb, and poultry, provided their finished temperature falls within the unit's measurement window.
