Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting started with your Philips Sonicare Cordless Power Flosser 3000 is straightforward, and proper care ensures its longevity and effectiveness.
Setup
- Charge Fully: Before first use, charge the device for at least 24 hours. The charging indicator will show when it's charging and fully charged.
- Attach Nozzle: Select either the F1 Standard nozzle or the F3 Quad Stream nozzle and firmly press it onto the handle until it clicks into place.
- Fill Reservoir: Open the reservoir door, fill with lukewarm water, and close securely.
Compatibility
The Power Flosser 3000 is compatible with Philips Sonicare F1 Standard and F3 Quad Stream nozzles. It is designed to work with tap water, and you can also use mouthwash for added freshness, provided you rinse the unit with plain water afterwards.
Care & Maintenance
- Clean After Each Use: After each flossing session, empty any remaining water from the reservoir. For a more thorough clean, fill the reservoir with plain water and run the flosser until empty.
- Rinse Nozzles: Detach the nozzle and rinse it thoroughly under running water.
- Wipe Down Unit: Wipe the exterior of the flosser handle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not submerge the main unit in water.
- Replace Nozzles: For optimal performance and hygiene, replace your flosser nozzles every 6 months, or sooner if they become damaged or worn.
- Charging Port: Keep the charging port dry and clean. Do not expose it to water.
