Clay Breaker Spade Bit - Impact Chisel - Loops 110 x 500mm

This spade bit is specifically designed for breaking up hard clay, compacted soil, and other dense, difficult materials. It is not intended for general digging or soft earth.

The Loops 110 x 500mm Clay Breaker Spade Bit is compatible with select Bosch and Makita rotary hammer models. Please refer to the compatibility list in the 'Setup, Compatibility & Care' section for specific model numbers.

Clean the bit with a stiff brush and water. For tougher residue, a mild detergent can be used. Ensure the bit is completely dry before storing to prevent rust.

The spade bit measures 500mm in length and 110mm in width.

While effective for breaking hard materials, this bit is heavy-duty and requires a powerful rotary hammer. It may be overkill and difficult to control for very light-duty tasks.

Insert the bit firmly into the chuck of your rotary hammer and engage the chuck mechanism as per your tool's manual. Check for any play or wobble before operation.

Ensure the chuck is fully open and clean of debris. Confirm the bit's shank is clean and free of obstructions. Re-insert and firmly engage the chuck.

Verify the spade bit is compatible with your rotary hammer. Ensure your rotary hammer has sufficient power (hammering function engaged and adequate blows per minute). Check for any obstructions on the bit or in the material being worked.

The bit may not be properly secured in the chuck. Remove and re-seat the bit, ensuring it is firmly locked. If the issue persists, inspect the bit shank and chuck for damage.
