The thread on which Gutermann was founded, synonymous with quality and luxury. Suitable for hand and machine sewing. Applications include fine closing seams with a fine gloss, fine ornamental stitches and decorative seams, overlock and safety seams, buttonholes, and sewing on buttons. It is soft, supple, tear and abrasion resistant, elastic, and extendible. The thread is also light resistant and colour fast. Recommended needle and size: Universal, size 80. 100% silk. Care instructions: 40 degree wash, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, moderately hot iron. Ideal for buttonhole and decorative seams.
