Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin, ensure your fabric is well-pressed and laying flat. Use a marking tool that is compatible with your specific fabric type to avoid permanent staining. Place the ruler directly onto the fabric surface and align the desired length marker (4, 6, or 8 inches) with your starting point. To care for your ruler, wipe it down with a soft, dry cloth after use to remove fabric dust or marking chalk residue. Store it flat in a craft drawer to prevent warping or snapping. Keep away from excessive heat or direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the plastic markings.
