Troubleshooting

Difficulty determining the correct size

Take your body measurements and compare them directly against the size chart provided on the pattern back or instruction sheet rather than using off-the-rack clothing sizes.

Fabric fraying while sewing

Use a zigzag stitch or a serger on the raw edges of your fabric to finish the seams and prevent unraveling.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Before beginning, identify your size based on the included measurements on the pattern envelope. Always pre-wash your fabric to prevent shrinkage after the garment is sewn. Keep your pattern pieces stored in a dry area and use sharp shears when cutting to ensure clean edges. For best results, use a universal sewing machine needle appropriate for your chosen fabric weight and ensure your bobbin is wound correctly before starting the assembly.
