The Priory 3/32 inch nail punch is an essential tool for woodworkers and carpenters who need to sink nail heads cleanly below the surface of a workpiece for a professional finish. Designed for precision, this tool features a sturdy, knurled body for a reliable grip and a hardened, cupped tip to prevent slipping off the nail head. While it is perfect for finish carpentry and fine cabinetry, users should note that its specific 3/32-inch diameter limits its use to matching nail sizes, requiring a collection of various sizes for projects with diverse fastener gauges.

No, this tool is designed exclusively for nails, not screws.
While it is made of hardened steel, it is optimized for wood and should not be used for metalworking.
The knurling provides texture, which increases friction and allows for a secure grip during precise tasks.
Yes, Priory offers a range of sizes, including 1/16 inch, 1/8 inch, and 3/16 inch to accommodate different nail gauges.
Store in a dry toolbox, preferably in a tool roll or organizer tray to prevent contact with other hardened steel tools that might dull the tip.
Ensure the nail is driven far enough into the wood that the punch tip can seat firmly; if the nail is bent, straighten it first or use a larger punch.
Ensure you are holding the punch perfectly perpendicular to the surface and avoid 'glancing' blows with the hammer.
To get the best results, ensure your hammer is well-matched to the task; a smaller 16oz finish hammer is generally preferred over a heavy framing hammer to avoid overdriving the nail. This tool is compatible with 3/32-inch finish nails and brads.
