Composting time varies but typically takes between 3-6 months, depending on conditions and materials.

You can compost kitchen scraps (vegetable peelings, coffee grounds), yard waste (leaves, grass clippings), and shredded paper.

Avoid composting meat, dairy products, diseased plants, and pet waste.

Turn the compost every 1-2 weeks for optimal aeration.

The compost should be dark, crumbly, and have an earthy smell.

Rinse it with water, or use a mild soap and water solution if needed.
