Leaf springs are an ancient suspension system, still prevalent in light commercial and 4WD vehicles due to their load distribution capabilities. Parabolic springs, designed for minimal weight and internal friction, feature fewer, parabolic-shaped leaves that reduce bending stress and friction, with contact points at the center and ends. Multi-leaf springs have stacked, trapezoidal leaves where friction between leaves causes load variations. The eyes of the longest leaf are crucial for safety and attach to the vehicle body, while U-bolts secure the spring to the axle. ROC leaf springs are manufactured to OEM standards in an ISO9001 environment, using top-quality steel and undergo inspection and testing before delivery. For safety and optimal handling, it is recommended to replace leaf springs in axle pairs and follow a recognised repair manual for installation, ensuring correct U-bolt tightening.
