These Knipex 79 22 125 Precision Electronics Diagonal Cutters are designed for ultra-fine cutting work in electronics and fine mechanics. They feature precisely ground and sharp cutting edges with very small bevels, ideal for precise cutting of small electronic components. The cutting edges have a hardness of approximately 64 HRC. These pliers are approximately 20% lighter than conventional electronic pliers. Constructed from ball bearing chrome steel, forged, and oil-hardened, they have a multi-component handle for comfort and a polished surface finish. The bolted joint ensures smooth operation, and they feature a black atramentized surface finish conforming to DIN ISO 9654 standard. They offer a flush cutting result. Cutting capacity includes 3/64" for medium-hard wire (nail) and 1/64" to 5/64" for soft wire. Optimized handle grips enhance comfort. Jaw length is 25/64", jaw width is 7/16", jaw thickness is 1/4", and tip thickness is 1/4". Blade length is 25/64". They provide low-friction movement throughout the entire opening range.
