Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up the DJI Mic Mini 2, ensure both the transmitter and receiver are charged. Pair them by placing the transmitter in the receiver's charging case or by following the on-screen prompts if using separately. Connect the receiver to your camera or mobile device using the appropriate cable (e.g., TRS for cameras, USB-C/Lightning for phones - adapter types may vary by kit). Power on both units and check for a stable connection indicated by the LED lights.
Compatibility: The receiver typically comes with adapters for various devices. Check compatibility with your specific camera, smartphone (iOS/Android), or computer. Ensure your device has a compatible input port (e.g., 3.5mm TRS, USB-C, Lightning).
Care: Store the system in its charging case when not in use to protect it from damage and keep it charged. Clean the transmitter and receiver with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid exposing the units to extreme temperatures, moisture, or direct sunlight for extended periods. Ensure the microphone grille on the transmitter is kept clear of debris to maintain audio quality.
