FAQs

Can I use any wireless mouse with this mat?

No, the wireless charging feature is exclusively compatible with Razer mice designed for the HyperFlux system.

Do I need to install any software?

While the mat works as a basic surface, installing Razer Synapse is recommended to manage multi-device connectivity and LED settings.

Is the surface replaceable?

The system includes the mat with specific surface types; please check the product box for included surface options.

Does the mat require a wall outlet?

No, the mat is powered entirely via the high-speed USB connection to your PC.

Is the mat water-resistant?

While it can withstand light moisture, it is not waterproof. Avoid spills as the unit contains electronic charging components.

Troubleshooting

Mouse is not charging on the mat

Ensure the HyperFlux puck is correctly installed on the mouse and the mouse is positioned within the active charging area of the mat.

Keyboard not connecting via the mat

Verify that your keyboard is a Razer HyperSpeed compatible model and follow the pairing instructions in the Razer Synapse software.

LED indicator is flashing unexpectedly

This may indicate a connection issue; unplug the mat from the USB port, wait ten seconds, and reconnect it.

Pros and Cons

Pros

No more charging cables or docks required
Streamlined desk setup with integrated wireless hub
Consistent and reliable power delivery during play
Stable base prevents unwanted movement during intense flicks
Supports multiple wireless devices simultaneously

Cons

Requires specific compatible Razer peripherals
Non-portable design due to hardwired connectivity requirements
Surface size may be smaller than some oversized dedicated gaming mats

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up your HyperFlux V2, connect the mat to your PC using the provided cable. Once connected, place your compatible Razer wireless mouse—equipped with the required HyperFlux puck—onto the surface. The system will auto-pair, and the LED indicator will signal that charging is active. For care, wipe the hard or cloth surface periodically with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to maintain tracking consistency. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or submerging the mat, as it contains sensitive electronics for the wireless charging induction coils. Ensure the mat is placed on a flat, clean desk surface to optimize the effectiveness of the anti-slip base.
