Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: This is a solid core cable and is designed to be terminated into standard keystone jacks, patch panels, or IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) style RJ45 plugs. It is not recommended for use with pre-made patch cables or crimp-on plugs designed for stranded cable.
Compatibility: Fully compatible with all networking equipment supporting Category 6A standards, including routers, switches, network interface cards (NICs), and servers. It can also be used in networks running at lower speeds (e.g., Gigabit Ethernet), providing future-proofing.
Care: Store the cable away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When installing, avoid sharp bends or kinks, as this can damage the solid conductors. Ensure proper grounding of shielding at termination points. Clean the exterior sheath with a dry or slightly damp cloth; avoid harsh chemicals.
