Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Gather Tools: You will need a drill, level, pencil, screwdriver, and appropriate wall fixings (screws and wall plugs suitable for your wall type – not included).
- Mark Position: Hold the shelf or its mounting bracket against the wall at the desired height. Use a level to ensure it is straight, and mark the drilling points with a pencil.
- Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points. Insert appropriate wall plugs if needed.
- Attach Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using screws.
- Mount Shelf: Slide the shelf onto the bracket, ensuring it is securely seated.
Compatibility:
This shelf is designed for mounting onto solid walls (e.g., brick, concrete, solid wood studs). For plasterboard or hollow walls, use specialized fixings and ensure the shelf's weight capacity is not exceeded. It is compatible with standard wall types when appropriate fixings are used.
Care:
- Clean with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture.
- Periodically check that mounting fixings remain secure.
- Protect from direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations to prevent warping or cracking.
