Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires standard carpentry tools, including a drill, screwdriver, and a hacksaw for the spindle.
- Measure the thickness of your door to determine how much of the 100mm spindle needs to be removed.
- Use the provided back-to-back bolts to create a secure mount through the door faces.
- Align the sash lock within the door cavity and secure the faceplate.
- Attach the round rose plates and test the lever movement before tightening the final fasteners.
For care, wipe the matt black surface periodically with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scouring pads, as these can damage the protective finish. If the lock mechanism feels stiff over time, a light application of a dry lubricant can be used inside the keyhole.
