This string is designed for general utility and crafting. It is not rated for direct food contact or oven use.
Yes, you can use acrylic paints or fabric dyes to customize the color of the jute string for your specific project.
It is suitable for temporary outdoor use in the garden, but it is a natural fiber and will biodegrade if left in the elements for long periods.
Due to its rough texture, a standard square knot or double-knot is usually sufficient to prevent slipping.
The Craft Jute Shabby String is a natural fiber product; it is free from synthetic finishes or heavy coatings.
Apply a small piece of tape to the end before cutting or knot the end immediately after trimming.
Briefly run a flame quickly over the string or lightly spray with a clear adhesive sealer to lock in stray fibers.
To begin using the Craft Jute Shabby String, simply cut to your desired length using standard household scissors. No complex setup or installation is required. Regarding care, store the spool in a cool, dry place to maintain the fiber integrity. If the string becomes soiled, spot-clean gently with a dry brush; avoid soaking the string in water, as this can lead to swelling or potential mold growth on the natural fibers.
