ND (Neutral Density) filters reduce the amount of light entering your lens, allowing you to use slower shutter speeds in bright conditions for motion blur effects (like smooth water) or wider apertures for shallow depth of field while maintaining correct exposure.

ND8 reduces light by 3 f-stops, ND64 by 6 f-stops, and ND1000 by 10 f-stops. Higher numbers mean more light reduction, enabling longer exposures or shooting at wider apertures in brighter light.

While the slim rim is designed to minimize vignetting, stacking multiple filters, especially with the magnetic adapter, is not recommended as it can increase the risk of vignetting and optical degradation.
