The Terma Smart Split (SS1) 1500W Silver Smart Thermostat Temperature Control Heating Element Probe offers precise temperature regulation for your heating system. Designed for energy efficiency, it integrates seamlessly into smart home setups. The 1500W power output provides reliable heating performance, ensuring comfort and control. Perfect for managing your home heating efficiently. The Terma Smart Split element probe is designed to work in combination with the VEO Range of Controllers to provide a fully functioning heating element. It features an 880mm internal probe length. For correct wattage selection, look at the output of the radiator as c/heating in watts & choose the element with the closest wattage. Conversion: BTUS / 3.41 = Watts. The 1500w, 1800w & 2000w elements are powerful and shouldn't be longer than 70% of the length of the radiator. For example, a 1500w probe (880mm) requires a radiator of at least 1257mm in length; an 1800w probe (1015mm) requires a radiator of at least 1450mm; and a 2000w probe (1150mm) requires a radiator of at least 1642mm. When electrifying any radiator, check that the model is suitable to work with a heating element. If you are buying an element to convert a towel rail for dual fuel use, remember to regularly bleed the towel rail, as air can build up inside on a central heating system. A heating element should never be run in the open air as this could potentially cause the surface of the rail to get extremely hot and burn your towels.
