The Sealey Worksafe Rigger's Gloves (Model SSP13) are ideal for construction workers, landscapers, and general tradespeople who require robust hand protection during heavy-duty tasks. These gloves offer a reliable balance of durability and comfort, thanks to their reinforced stitching and generous fit, though users should be aware that the heavy-duty construction may limit fine tactile sensitivity for precision assembly work.

EN 388 is a European standard used to evaluate gloves for protection against mechanical risks, including abrasion, cut, tear, and puncture.
Heavy-duty rigger gloves are typically not machine washable. It is recommended to spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry.
While they provide mechanical protection according to EN 388 standards, no glove is completely cut-proof. They are designed for general trade protection rather than as a specialized anti-cut guard.
These are primarily designed for physical durability and abrasion resistance. They are not rated for high-heat or fire-resistant applications.
Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight to prevent material degradation.
Allow the gloves to air dry completely at room temperature, then knead the material with your hands to restore flexibility.
Carefully trim the excess thread with scissors; do not pull the thread as this may unravel the structural stitching.
To ensure the longevity of your Sealey Rigger's Gloves, it is important to follow proper maintenance procedures. While the gloves are designed for rugged use, you should inspect them before each shift for signs of significant tears or wear that could compromise safety. Keep the gloves dry when not in use; if they become wet, allow them to air dry slowly away from direct heat sources like radiators, as excessive heat can cause the material to harden or shrink. They are compatible with most standard trade uniforms and can be worn over thin thermal liners if working in colder climates.
