This semi-automatic unit administers a shock at the press of a button. It is supplied with one set of adult electrode pads, battery, and software, plus exclusive extras. The defibrillator unit comes with a 7-year manufacturer's warranty. The battery has a stand-by life of 4 years and a shelf life of 5 years from the date of manufacture. Electrode pads have a 2-year life from the date of manufacture. The unit performs daily, weekly, and monthly self-tests and increases energy levels if more than one shock is required. LED indicators show when the device is ready for use and the remaining battery capacity. It is available with the CPR Device (CPRD) feature, which provides real-time CPR feedback for correct compression rate and depth. The device provides voice and text prompts to guide the rescuer throughout CPR and defibrillation treatment. Its robust IP55 rated design offers high resistance against dust and moisture. It includes non-polarized adult pads that can be placed in either position on the patient. Usage information can be stored and later transferred to a computer for analysis via a USB port. The time taken for initial analysis to ready to shock is typically 15 seconds. It can be used to treat young patients (1-8 years old) using paediatric infant/child pads (sold separately).
