Perform a partial water change (about 25%) weekly to maintain water quality.

The airstone should be replaced when it becomes clogged or the air bubbles become significantly reduced, approximately every 6-12 months.

This kit is designed specifically for goldfish. It may not be suitable for other species with different needs.

Observe your fish for signs of gasping at the surface. The bubbles from the air pump provide aeration.

Place the air pump above the water level in a dry, safe location.

Use dechlorinated tap water or bottled aquarium water.

Check the power connection. Ensure the pump is plugged in. Check the air tubing for any kinks or blockages.

Check the airstone for clogging. Clean or replace the airstone. Examine the air tubing for leaks.

Check the gravel for excessive waste buildup and clean it gently. Ensure regular partial water changes.

Test the water for ammonia and nitrite levels. If elevated, perform a water change and consider reducing the amount of food you are feeding the fish.
