Several small, multi-level windows are placed around the walls of the Command Post Playhouse, along with hinged slatted window apertures (these are not glazed). A low door is used for access on one face. Originally designed as a command post for playing soldiers, it can also be used as a hide to introduce children to birdwatching. The playhouse itself sits upon a sturdy raised wooden platform, complete with balustrades and an access ladder. Mineralized felt is provided to cover the roof. Full instructions will be supplied upon delivery, along with all the fixtures and fittings needed to install this wooden playhouse. Built from high grade European pine, this structure combines 34mm square framing with shiplap timber cladding and tongue and groove flooring to create a robust build. This playhouse also features four window opening ports for those all important water guns. Each window is safety glazed with styrene, and the door with a full length piano hinge to prevent finger traps. What's more, this complete build meets the European Safety Standard for toys, meaning your little ones are safe to play to their heart's content. The ladder is able to go at either end of the balcony one in of 3 front facing positions. Before you assemble your building, you will need to create a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Grass, soil or gravel are not sufficient as they will move with the weight of a building.
