Gripit Fixings are uniquely designed with slim gripping wings that fold out behind the plasterboard, creating a secure and effective fixing. Ideal for both DIY and trade use, they can be used to hang items such as curtain rails, bookshelves, kitchen and bathroom units, radiators, boilers, and wall-mounted TVs. Traditional plasterboard fixings can fail over time, but Gripit fixings offer a permanent solution. They are easy to position and fit, providing a strong and reliable hold for most wall-mounted items. The design effectively spreads the load over twice the diameter of the fixing, ensuring even distribution of stress across a wide area. Suitable for plasterboard thicknesses ranging from 9.5mm to 15mm, Gripit fixings are simple to install. Mark the desired location, drill a hole using the recommended flat drill bit size, and tap in the Gripit. Insert the screw with a screwdriver and give it a simple twist to deploy the wings behind the plasterboard. The red Gripit fixings come supplied with 5mm screws. Gripit fixings are also reusable; simply turn the wing screws to release and remove them. For situations involving double-thickness plasterboard or dot and dab adhesive, the optional Gripit Undercutting Tool can create the necessary recess for the wings to rotate into place. These fixings were featured on the UK BBC's Dragons' Den programme and allow you to safely hang items weighing up to 74kg. Each bag contains 25 x Grip It 18mm Red Fixings with 5 x 30mm Screws.
