Setup: 1. Prepare the Substrate: Ensure the hole is drilled to the correct diameter and depth according to Rawlplug specifications for your substrate. Clean the hole thoroughly with a brush and air blower to remove all dust and debris. 2. Attach the Nozzle: Screw the mixing nozzle firmly onto the cartridge. 3. Insert into Gun: Place the cartridge into a standard mastic gun. 4. Prime the Cartridge: Dispense the first few pumps of resin onto a piece of scrap material until a consistent, uniformly mixed color (blue) is achieved. This ensures proper mixing of the two components. 5. Apply: Inject the mixed resin into the prepared hole, typically starting from the back of the hole to avoid air pockets.
Compatibility: The R-KEM-II is compatible with non-cracked concrete, solid brick, hollow block, natural stone, and other masonry materials. It requires a standard mastic gun for application.
Care: For optimal performance and reusability, after partial use, leave the mixing nozzle attached to the cartridge. When you are ready to reuse the product, simply remove the old nozzle (which may have cured resin inside) and fit a new, clean mixing nozzle (sold separately). Store the cartridge in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
