Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the tiles are clean, dry, and free of any old grout or debris. Use a grout saw or scraper to remove old grout if necessary.
- Application: Apply the grout with a grout float at a 45-degree angle, pushing the grout into the joints.
- Removal of Excess: After applying, wait a short while for the grout to set slightly, then remove the excess grout with the edge of the float at a 90-degree angle.
- Cleaning: Clean the tile surface with a damp sponge, wiping diagonally across the grout lines. Rinse the sponge frequently.
- Curing: Allow the grout to cure completely, usually for 24 hours, before exposing it to water or heavy use.
Compatibility: This grout is compatible with most common wall and floor tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, glass, mosaic, limestone, marble, cement, and plaster tiles. It is specifically designed for glazed wall tiles.
Care: Clean the grout regularly with a mild detergent and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads, which can damage the grout. For tougher stains, use a grout cleaner specifically designed for the grout's colour. Re-seal grout annually to ensure water resistance.
