Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Choose Location: Select a spot that receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours a day. Avoid areas shaded by trees, buildings, or other structures.
- Install Stake: Gently push the pointed end of the stake into the ground at your chosen location. Ensure the light head is positioned as desired.
- Initial Charge: Allow the light to charge in sunlight for a full day before its first use to ensure the battery is optimally prepared.
Compatibility:
These lights are designed for outdoor garden use and are compatible with most soil types. They require no electrical outlets or wiring, making them universally compatible with any outdoor space.
Care:
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. This ensures maximum efficiency in solar absorption. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Winter Storage: While weatherproof, for extended longevity, especially in harsh climates, consider bringing the lights indoors during prolonged periods of heavy snow or ice.
- Battery: The built-in rechargeable battery is designed for longevity, but like all rechargeable batteries, its capacity may decrease over time. Replacement is typically not user-serviceable; if performance significantly degrades, consider replacing the unit.
