FAQs

Is the Under Armour Golf 96 Cap machine washable?

No, it is recommended to hand wash the cap to preserve its structured shape and material integrity.

What does 'UA Classic Fit' mean?

It refers to a design with a pre-curved visor and structured front panels that maintain a consistent, low-profile shape.

Does the hat provide sun protection?

The brim provides shade to the face and eyes, which is essential for reducing glare while playing golf.

Is the material breathable?

Yes, the lightweight woven polyester is designed for airflow, and the interior sweatband helps manage moisture during activity.

Can I adjust the size?

Yes, it features an adjustable hook and loop closure system at the back for a customizable fit.

Troubleshooting

Hat feels too loose during a swing

Adjust the hook and loop strap at the rear to tighten the fit until secure, ensuring the band sits firmly above your ears.

Visible dirt or salt stains from sweat

Spot clean the area with a damp cloth and mild soap; ensure you rinse thoroughly and let it air dry completely.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is straightforward: simply use the hook and loop closure at the back to adjust the tension to your preference. The cap is designed as an OSFM (One Size Fits Most) item, making it compatible with a wide range of head sizes.

To maintain the longevity of your cap:

Cleaning: Hand wash only using cold water and mild detergent.
Drying: Air dry the cap away from direct heat sources to prevent shrinkage or warping of the structured panels.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and avoid placing heavy objects on top of the crown to keep the structured front panels from losing their shape.
