Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation: The AEG 6000 Series hob requires hardwiring by a qualified electrician. Ensure the correct voltage (220-240 / 400 V) and frequency (50 Hz) are supported.
Compatibility: The hob is designed to be built-in, so check the dimensions to ensure it fits your existing cabinetry (810mm width, 520mm depth, 49cm installation depth, and 78cm installation width). Compatibility with cookware includes induction-compatible pots and pans.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Wipe the surface with a damp cloth after each use. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Grease Filters: The grease filters are washable. Remove and clean them regularly (dishwasher safe).
- Carbon Filters: The long-life carbon filters can be regenerated for extended use. Refer to the manual for instructions.
- Filter Indicators: Pay attention to the filter replacement and cleaning indicators on the hob.
