This Datavideo Prompter Kit, TP-300 MARK II, converts a tablet computer into a low-cost and effective prompter. It is designed for both theatre and video studio settings, helping presenters maintain eye contact and stay on script. The teleprompter is built for professional use, featuring high-quality mirror glass with a low iron content for a clear, untinted reflection. It accommodates tablets up to 11.6 inches, with a width requirement between 110mm and 210mm when measured in portrait orientation. A 60/40 beam splitter allows 60% of light to pass through to the camera and reflects 40% of the light to the talent, ensuring readable text and well-exposed footage. Setup can be done using a standard tripod with the beam splitter glass placed at a 45-degree angle in front of the lens, or via a below-lens setup where the tablet faces the talent. The TP-300 MARK II is designed to be smaller and lighter than typical studio teleprompters, making it portable with an included carrying case. It is compatible with standard tripods for easy on-location use. The teleprompter is suitable for various applications including professional video production, speech delivery, interviews, educational videos, live broadcasting, and online content creation. It offers flexible control options with the optional WR-500 remote control (wired or Bluetooth) and the dvPrompter Plus app, which allows pausing, resuming, speed adjustment, font size changes, and script switching. The dvPrompter Plus app also supports remote monitoring via WiFi or Ethernet, a rich text editor with advanced formatting options, and synchronization of multiple tablets. It can also import PowerPoint and Keynote slides.
