Equitop GLME is a nutritional supplement designed to maintain joint function in horses. It contains an extract of Green Lipped Mussel (Perna canaliculus), which is rich in glucosaminoglycans (GAGs), polyunsaturated fatty acids, and a special glycogen complex. This supplement can be given with feed or alone and is highly palatable for most horses. It is recommended by vets for horses whose joints are working harder or need extra support, such as older horses or young horses entering work. Leading riders also use Equitop GLME as part of their feeding regime. The unique pearl formulation is easy to feed, with one 25g scoop recommended daily for horses over 500kg and half a scoop for horses under 500kg. Manufactured to medicine grade standards by Boehringer Ingelheim, it is a scientifically-based product.
