Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up your Matteo Kitchen Island, ensure you have a flat, carpeted, or protected workspace to prevent scratching the white finish during assembly. You will need a standard screwdriver and, optionally, a rubber mallet. Decide early if you want the unit to be mobile (using the included five-wheel set) or static (using the wood legs), as swapping these later is difficult once the unit is loaded with kitchen items.
For daily care, wipe the surface with a damp, lint-free cloth and mild soap. Avoid using abrasive cleaning pads that could strip the finish. If you choose to use the mobile wheels, periodically check that the locking mechanisms are debris-free and that the screws attaching the wheel base are tight to ensure a smooth glide across your floor.
