Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Before use, ensure the area around the drain is clear. Wear gloves for hand protection.
- Insertion: Insert the corkscrew end of the drain cleaner into the drain opening.
- Operation: Rotate the handle while gently pushing the cleaner into the drain. This action helps the corkscrew probe to break up or grab the blockage.
- Retrieval: Once you feel the blockage loosen or break, slowly pull the cleaner out, cleaning off any debris. Repeat if necessary.
- Flushing: After clearing the blockage, flush the drain with hot water to remove any remaining debris and ensure proper flow.
Compatibility: The Silverline Drain Cleaner is compatible with most standard drain pipes. However, it's advisable to assess the condition of the pipes before use, especially in older homes.
Care Instructions: After each use, clean the drain cleaner with soap and water. Dry thoroughly before storing. Inspect the wire for any damage and replace if necessary.
