Yes, this is an authentic Bosch accessory with the MPN F016800385.
While technically possible, it is recommended to use fresh, factory-wound spools to ensure the line feeds correctly without tangling.
Verify that your trimmer is part of the Bosch ART series and check the compatibility list provided in your trimmer's user manual.
Check if the line is tangled inside the spool or if the end of the line has become welded to the spool due to heat.
Ensure you are not trimming against abrasive surfaces like brick or stone, and check that the line is not being fed too quickly into tough vegetation.
To install, ensure your trimmer is disconnected from any power source. Press the release tabs on the sides of the trimmer head to remove the old spool cover, lift out the empty spool, and insert the new Bosch F016800385 spool, ensuring the line feeds through the eyelets correctly. Compatibility is limited to specific Bosch ART series models, so always check your trimmer's manual or product label against the MPN F016800385. To maintain, keep the trimmer head clear of debris after every use to prevent the line from becoming tangled or jammed inside the housing.
