The Makita DSD180Z is a cordless drywall saw powered by an 18V Makita Li-ion battery, designed for cutting holes in drywalls for ceiling lights, air vents, and similar applications. It is particularly well-suited for making straight cuts. Key features include variable speed, an LED job light, cutting depth adjustment, and a base cover to protect drywall surfaces from scratches. The tool offers excellent maneuverability due to its balanced design, making overhead operation easy. Straight cutting is facilitated by the blade shape and cutting system. A dust box is included to collect dust during overhead applications, and it can also be connected to a dust extractor.
