To ensure safety during setup, the tailgate should be supported by a second person or a secure prop before removing the old strut. Once the old unit is detached, snap the new Febi 47078 onto the existing ball studs. It is vital to verify that this specific part number matches your vehicle model's requirements by checking the manufacturer's catalog or using the vehicle identification number (VIN). For maintenance, keep the piston rod clean and free of abrasive dirt, grease, or paint to ensure the internal seals remain airtight and functional over time.
