The open net structure allows for superior dust extraction across the entire surface of the disc. This results in a cleaner work environment, better visibility of the sanding surface, and prevents premature clogging of the abrasive.

It employs a stearate release agent on the abrasive grains. This coating helps to reduce heat build-up during sanding and minimizes clogging, particularly when working with resinous woods, fillers, paints, and other heat-sensitive materials.

These discs are designed for 125 mm random orbital sanders that use a hook & loop (Velcro-style) backing pad. The universal fitment means you don't need to align holes, but the sander itself must be compatible with the disc size and attachment system.

They are suitable for a wide range of materials including wood, paint, plastic, filler, plaster, and metal.

120 grit is considered a medium grit. It is excellent for general-purpose sanding, removing moderate imperfections, and preparing surfaces for finer grits. It is not ideal for initial heavy material removal (use coarser grits like 80) or for final finishing (use finer grits like 180, 240, or higher).

The Hook & Loop system allows for quick and secure attachment of the sanding disc to the backing pad, and enables fast changes between discs, especially when working through different grit levels.

Net abrasives like these have an open mesh backing that allows dust to pass through more effectively, leading to less clogging and a cleaner workspace. Traditional sandpaper can clog more easily, especially with soft materials.

Ensure the hook & loop backing pad is clean and free of debris. Ensure the disc is pressed firmly and evenly onto the pad.

Check if the material being sanded is particularly soft or resinous. Ensure dust extraction is functioning optimally. Try reducing sanding pressure. If clogging persists, the disc may be worn or unsuitable for the material/task. Consider a finer grit or a different abrasive type.

Verify that the dust extraction port on the sander is properly connected to a vacuum or dust collector. Ensure the sanding disc's mesh structure is not obstructed. Check for leaks in the extraction hose.

Reduce the pressure applied during sanding. Ensure you are using the correct grit for the task; a grit that is too coarse for the material can wear faster. Check the backing pad for damage which can cause uneven wear.
