These 75mm ball-bearing hinges are designed for standard solid interior doors within the 30mm to 45mm thickness range.
You will typically need a screwdriver, a drill with appropriate bits for the latch, and a chisel to recess the hinges and the latch plate.
The silver finish is durable for indoor conditions, but it is not intended for high-moisture environments like bathrooms unless properly ventilated.
Check that the hinges are recessed deep enough into the door and frame and ensure all screws are tightened firmly.
Verify that the latch is centered in the hole and that the latch plate is flush with the door edge to prevent misalignment.
Ensure the bolt-through fixings are aligned properly and tightened evenly to secure the handle mechanism to the door.
Ensure your door is between 30mm and 45mm thick before beginning the installation. Use a standard drill bit to prepare the hole for the 64mm tubular latch, ensuring the latch plate sits flush with the edge of the door. The hinges should be recessed into the door and frame to ensure a proper gap for smooth swinging. For maintenance, periodically check that the screws remain tight, and wipe the hardware with a soft, dry cloth to maintain the silver finish. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may tarnish the metal over time.
