Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Smiffys Captain Costume Set looks its best, follow these guidelines:
- Preparation: Upon removing the costume from its packaging, hang the jacket on a sturdy hanger to allow any transit wrinkles to relax. Use a low-heat setting on an iron or a garment steamer if necessary.
- Compatibility: This set is designed to be paired with standard formal footwear. Black dress shoes or white naval-style loafers are recommended for an authentic appearance.
- Care Instructions: Hand wash the items in cold water with mild detergent to preserve the white fabric color and material integrity. Hang dry; avoid using high-heat tumble dryers as they may damage the synthetic polyester fibers.
