Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure maximum safety, always replace brake pads on both sides of the axle simultaneously. Before starting the installation, ensure the vehicle is secured on jack stands. Clean the brake caliper housing thoroughly of all debris and brake dust before seating the new pads. Ensure the included hardware, such as the springs and bolts, are torqued to the manufacturer’s specification to prevent hardware failure. It is recommended to perform a 'bedding-in' process after installation, which involves light braking during the first 50-100 miles of driving to seat the friction material properly against the rotor surface. Always consult your vehicle's service manual for specific torque settings.
