Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure peak performance, follow these guidelines for setup and maintenance:
- Initial Charge: Before the first use, expose the lights to direct sunlight for 1-2 full days to fully condition the batteries.
- Placement: Choose locations with high sun exposure. Avoid placing lights near other strong light sources (like street lamps), as this can interfere with the dusk-to-dawn sensor.
- Ground Preparation: Ensure the surface is level and soft enough to accommodate the stake; avoid pounding them into hard or frozen ground to prevent damage to the plastic housing.
- Maintenance: Regularly wipe the solar lens with a soft, damp cloth to remove buildup. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes, as these can scratch the solar panel and reduce efficiency.
