Product Information
Full details
The Sametop Waterproof Floating Handle Grip (Yellow) is designed for action camera users engaged in water sports or activities. Its primary benefit is ensuring your camera stays afloat and is easily visible if dropped, preventing loss. A potential caveat is its specialized use case for water-based activities, though it doubles as a standard selfie stick. This compact, lightweight grip offers superior buoyancy, a secure non-slip hold, and compatibility with a wide range of action cameras. It features a hollow compartment for small items or buoyancy adjustment and a built-in mount.

FAQs
Will this handle work with my specific action camera model?
The Sametop Floating Handle Grip is designed for broad compatibility with most action cameras, including the GoPro HERO series (from 1 to 13), DJI Osmo Action, and many other popular brands like Akaso and SJCAM. Please check the product description for a detailed list of compatible models.
How much weight can this handle support?
The handle is designed to support the weight of standard action cameras and accessories like BacPacs, ensuring they float. It is not designed to support significantly heavier cameras or external equipment.
Can I store my car keys in the hollow compartment?
Yes, the hollow compartment can store small items such as keys, coins, or other small valuables. Ensure the compartment is tightly sealed before use in water to prevent leaks.
What happens if I drop the camera with this grip attached?
If dropped in water, the handle's buoyancy will keep both the handle and the attached camera afloat, preventing it from sinking and making it easier to retrieve. The bright yellow color enhances visibility.
How do I clean the handle?
After use in saltwater, rinse the entire grip with fresh water. Allow it to air dry completely. You can wipe the textured grip with a damp cloth if needed.
What is the length of the handle?
The handle is 18.2 cm tall.
What is the warranty period?
The product comes with a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
Troubleshooting
Camera is not floating
Ensure the hollow compartment is securely sealed. If the compartment is filled with air, it contributes to buoyancy. Check that the camera itself is not adding excessive weight that neutralizes buoyancy.
Grip feels slippery
Ensure the grip surface is clean and free from sand, dirt, or oily residue. If the grip is wet, the textured surface should still provide adequate hold; dry your hands if necessary.
Mounting screw is loose or damaged
Check if the camera's mounting hardware is properly aligned. For the grip's mount, inspect for damage. If damaged, contact the manufacturer for replacement parts or warranty service.
Hollow compartment seal is weak
Clean the sealing edges of both the cap and the handle to remove any debris. Ensure the cap is twisted firmly until it is fully tightened. If the seal remains weak, it may indicate wear and require replacement.
