Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up your Y-frame table legs, place your chosen tabletop upside down on a protected surface. Position the legs where you intend them to be, ensuring they are equidistant from the edges for stability. Use the pre-drilled holes on the mounting plate to mark your screw locations on the tabletop. Secure the legs using appropriate screws (not included) for your tabletop material. Ensure all screws are tightened firmly but avoid over-tightening, which could strip the material.
Compatibility: These legs are compatible with a wide range of tabletop materials, including solid wood, engineered wood, stone, and glass (ensure appropriate mounting hardware for glass is used). The Y-frame design is best suited for tabletops that are at least 54 cm wide to allow for proper leg placement without overhang. Ensure your tabletop is thick enough to accommodate the screws used for mounting.
Care: To maintain the finish, wipe the table legs clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they can damage the painted and lacquered surface. For tougher grime, use a mild soap solution and dry immediately with a clean cloth. Protect the legs from excessive moisture and direct, prolonged sunlight.
